Buckshaw Village Nursery Awarded Lead Practitioner Status

We are thrilled to share some wonderful news. Buckshaw Village Nursery has been awarded Lead Practitioner Status by the early years foundation consultants at Lancashire County Council. This is an honour given to only a very limited number of settings throughout Lancashire, and we could not be prouder of what it represents for our nursery here in Buckshaw Village, Chorley.

What is Lead Practitioner Status?

Lead Practitioners are recognised as Beacons of Quality. The award is given to practitioners who have achieved the very highest standards of early years practice, following a rigorous assessment of the care and education they provide. It is a distinction that celebrates excellence in the earliest and most important years of a child's development.

Being named a Lead Practitioner setting is not only about our own children, though. Part of the role is to support other early years settings by sharing our outstanding practice, helping to raise standards for young children right across the county.

An award like this is earned by people, not paperwork.
