Nursery Network Evening at The Hub Buckshaw

On the evening of Wednesday 14th May, our nursery at The Hub in Buckshaw Village opened its doors to approximately 90 Early Years Educators from other nursery settings across Lancashire. Visitors toured the facilities and observed our operational practice first hand.

Sharing Outstanding practice across Lancashire

The evening was all about professional networking and knowledge sharing within the Lancashire early years community. Colleagues from settings across the county came to see how our team works, to pick up fresh ideas and to talk through the day to day of running a busy, high quality nursery.

What our visitors said

We received several lovely responses from the educators who came along, including:

• "Lovely Nursery, obviously a lot of hard work & dedication involved by your staff."
• "Extremely welcoming. Very knowledgeable Nursery Practitioners, who showed a passion for their job."
• "Your provision is truly outstanding & your babies & children are extremely lucky."
• "We were made to feel really welcome & came away with lots of ideas & support."
• "Very welcoming environment & the staff were superb."
• "Excellent facilities. Wonderful!"

Learning across the whole of The Hub

Part of what makes our setting special is everything on site here at The Hub. Alongside the nursery, families and visitors can enjoy the Splash swimming pool, the Cappuccino cafe and the Hair and Beauty salon, giving our children enriched learning experiences all under one roof.
