Places for children starting school in September 2013

The move from nursery to big school is a huge milestone, and our pre-school room is designed to help little ones get ready for it. If your child is due to start reception in September 2013, now is the perfect time to think about a pre-school place in a warm, familiar setting close to home in Buckshaw Village.

Spaces are limited, so we would encourage families across Chorley and the surrounding area to get in touch early to check availability.

Preparing your child for big school

Our pre-school children take part in a wide range of activities that build the skills and confidence they will need for reception, all through play and everyday routines. Time in pre-school helps children with:

• Building independence and self-help skills, from getting dressed to tidying up
• Early reading, writing, counting and problem solving
• Making friends, sharing and playing well with others
• Following routines and growing in confidence ready for the school day
