Mini First Aid at Buckshaw

Mini First Aid offers first aid classes to parents, grandparents, carers and children. The classes are delivered in a relaxed and comfortable style and cover the basics of lifesaving first aid, giving you the confidence to know what actions to take if faced with a medical emergency. We were delighted to host a Mini First Aid course here at The Hub in Buckshaw Village.

Would you know what to do in an emergency?

Knowing the right action to take in the first few minutes of an emergency can make all the difference. Mini First Aid classes are designed for families and carers, so you leave feeling calmer and better prepared to help the children in your care. Join us at The Hub for a Mini First Aid course and learn the skills that matter most.

What the class covers

The 2 hour class covers the essentials of lifesaving first aid in a friendly, hands-on session:

• CPR
• Choking
• Bumps
• Bleeding
• Breaks
• Burns
• Febrile seizures
• Meningitis awareness

When and where

The class was held at The Hub on Friday 22nd September, from 12.45pm to 2.45pm. You can find us at Unity Place, Buckshaw Village, Chorley, PR7 7HZ, just off the M6 with free parking on site, which makes it easy to reach from Chorley, Leyland, Euxton, Preston and Whittle-le-Woods.
