Splash Babies is a 30 minute parent and child swimming class for babies aged 3 months to 12 months, held in our warm 31 degree pool at The Hub in Buckshaw Village, Chorley. It gently introduces infants to the water, builds early confidence and creates a lovely chance to bond, with baby changing facilities and free parking on site.
What is Splash Babies?
Splash Babies introduces your infant to swimming through a specially designed course that puts water confidence and early development first. It is a 30 minute parent and child class for babies aged 3 months to 12 months, so you are right there in the water sharing every splash and smile.
Classes take place in our warm pool, kept at a comfortable 31 degrees, inside our private, purpose built swimming academy in Buckshaw Village. Baby changing facilities in both the male and female changing rooms make getting ready before and after each class quick and stress free.
Splash Babies is the very first step in the Splash journey. As your child grows they can move on to Little Splashers for 1 to 3 year olds, then Pre-School lessons and our structured swimming lessons.

What Splash Babies aims to do
Our Splash Babies classes gently guide both you and your baby, so you leave the pool feeling confident and your little one leaves loving the water. Every session works towards these aims:
